Privacy

Nomikura has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

Your cellar (bottles, photos, notes) is stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your private iCloud account; we cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes the copy on your device.

Before your first scan the app asks you to agree, and you can withdraw that in Settings, Withdraw photo consent.

Each photo you choose to scan is stripped of location data and sent over HTTPS to our server, which forwards it to Anthropic, the company that provides the AI model. Our server does not store it, and Anthropic does not use it to train its models under its commercial terms.

To count daily reads, the app sends a random device ID and your time zone; the server keeps only the ID and a counter per day and deletes rows after 2 days.

Pro purchases are handled by Apple; the server checks the signed App Store transaction to allow the Pro limit and does not keep it.

The camera is optional, you can choose a photo or add a bottle by hand.

Nomikura is for adults of legal drinking age and is not directed to children.
